Privacy Policy

Salio (“Salio”, “we”, “us”) helps merchants improve their product data and publish product feeds to sales channels such as Google. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By connecting a store to Salio you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Account information — your email address and the identifier of the store you connect (for example, your Shopify shop domain).
• Product catalog data — product details from your connected store (titles, descriptions, images, prices, availability, identifiers, categories) used to score data quality and build feeds.
• Connected-channel data — when you connect Google Merchant Center, the OAuth tokens we need to act on your behalf, your Merchant Center account ID, and the product status (approved / pending / disapproved) Google reports for your products.
• Usage data — basic logs needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use information

• Score your product data quality and surface issues and fixes.
• Generate, host, and submit product feeds to the channels you connect.
• Read and display your products’ approval status from connected channels.
• Operate, secure, support, and improve the service.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Google API Services — Limited Use

Salio’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically, data obtained through Google APIs (such as the Merchant API) is used only to provide and improve the user-facing features described above — managing your own Merchant Center feeds and reading your product status. We do not transfer this data to others except as needed to provide the service or as required by law, do not use it for advertising, and do not allow humans to read it unless you give explicit consent, it is necessary for security or to comply with the law, or the data is aggregated and anonymized.

How we share information

We share data only with service providers that help us run Salio — for example cloud hosting and infrastructure, and the sales channels you explicitly connect (such as Google Merchant Center) for the purpose of publishing your feeds. These providers may process data only on our instructions.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your data while your store is connected and for as long as needed to provide the service. You can disconnect a channel at any time, which removes the associated credentials. To delete your account and associated data, contact us at saliobizai@gmail.com and we will delete it.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
